BY PURCHASING AN ITEM FROM THIS WEBSITE YOU ARE ALSO AGREEING TO HAVING READ AND ACCEPTED OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

DELIVERY ADDRESS:

We ship only to the card holders billing address which is verified by our payment processor at checkout to protect customers from fraud.

IMPORTANT: Items will only be dispatched to the Delivery Address given at point of purchase, Please include your telephone contact details and e-mail address so as we can contact you regarding your order if necessary.  Any subsequent changes may only be made by telephone first and subject to verification by us (we will ask for proof of connection to the new address such as utility bills etc). 

Whilst many of our items are 'In Stock' and therefore dispatched next business day we strongly recommend that you do not book fitters for your appliances prior to their receipt.  The Big Kitchen Centre LTD cannot accept responsibility for fitting cancellations under such circumstances.  If you have any questions about the availability of your desired product please call us on 01915108899, we will be more than happy to give advice on availability.

Whilst the vast majority of our products are delivered 'Next business day' after despatch by our courier, our free delivery service does NOT guarantee next day delivery.

Free Delivery excludes highlands and islands of Scotland, Ireland north and south, and any offshore uk postcode, if you are any of these, PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU BUY.

Please note the Free Delivery stated covers ground floor only with a one man delivery, if you have any special requests for delivery (if for example you live in a flat) please make us aware of this at time of purchase and we shall endeavour to arrange special delivery for you, this may come with an additional charge, please contact us for further information.


DAMAGES OR OMMISIONS

All items are opened and checked for signs of physical damage prior to dispatch by us, once you have received your items, you (or the party who takes receipt on your behalf) MUST inspect your goods thoroughly for any physical damage (ie open the box and inspect the goods) and that all items are present, if the packaging containing your equipment appears damaged please refuse it and notify us by telephone that you have done this. Any damage or omissions must be reported to us via email to MAIL@THEBIGKITCHENCENTRE.COM within 24hrs of receipt (please include order number given in the order acknowledgement email you received after purchase and a brief description of damage or omission), we will confirm receipt of your email by reply. Do not attempt to fit any item which appears damaged, we will not accept the return of damaged goods that have been subsequently fitted under any circumstance

Additionally you must confirm your claim by telephone (01915108899) as soon as practicably possible during business hours (ie 9-5). We will either arrange collection of any faulty item, or ask you to return it via your local post office if reasonably practicable, When the item is returned to us, we will inspect it and (subject to our confirmation of fault/damage etc), authorize dispatch of a replacement and refund of any reasonable postage cost incurred. Failure to carry out an inspection as detailed above will compromise  any claim for damage or omissions and The Big Kitchen Centre Ltd  will not accept liability after this period has elapsed.

RETURNS POLICY

Only faulty items returned in 'As New' condition will be accepted.  If an item has been installed then manufacturers warranty applies (please ensure you send off applicable warranty cards to manufacturers as soon as you receive goods).

If you wish to return items because you have changed your mind then item is to be returned within 10 days at your expense via an insured courier service.  Goods are to be returned in 'As New' condition with original packaging.  Upon receipt the item will be inspected and if satisfied then refund will be made (minus a 20% administration and restocking charge).  After 10 days the purchase is deemed complete and we will not accept return.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS REGARDING THE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF RANGE COOKERS/DOUBLE OVENS/INTEGRATED WASHING MACHINES AND ALL REFRIGERATION LARGER THAN UNDER-COUNTER EQUIPMENT: 

 Please ensure you read and fully understand these terms and conditions regarding the delivery of large items, it is as much for your (the customers) protection as ours.

 

Once you have ordered this item from us we (The Big Kitchen Centre) will contact you by telephone to arrange a suitable delivery date for your equipment, therefore you must supply a contact telephone number with your order.  It is often best to call us prior to making your order to discuss any questions you may have no matter how small, it’s usually the little things that cause the most problems.  We will be more than happy to advise you to ensure a smooth transaction for both parties

 

Once a delivery date has been agreed verbally with us we will confirm this date by email.  If you need to change the delivery date for any reason we will require 48hrs notice prior to delivery date minimum of a change by telephone and subsequently confirmed by ourselves verbally and by email.  An email alone from the customer is not sufficient in terms of notice.

 

If there are any access issues to your property you must notify us of this when  arranging the delivery. Delivery is made by a 7.5 ton wagon (minimum in size) therefore access must be available in your street/road/close/rural property etc.

 

In the case of this item, delivery is direct from the manufacturer to your doorstep (doorstep is interpreted as the point at which the driver can no longer reasonably manoeuvre the item himself or your doorstep whichever is first) for insurance purposes the delivery driver is not permitted beyond that point.  You will need to ensure that you are physically capable of taking delivery of this item beyond that point (a range cooker for example is a very heavy item and 2 people alone would struggle to move it without the aid of additional apparatus).

 

Ensure that the point of entry for the appliance (door way etc) is large enough to take the appliance, there may be occasions when packaging may have to be removed to facilitate this (we know this ourselves from bitter experience).

 

Ensure that either you or the nominated person is available for delivery on the agreed day.  If for any reason the driver cannot make the delivery (ie you are not there when arranged or there are access issues which were not disclosed at the point of order and it is deemed that the client is at fault) and has to return to base with the equipment then a £50 re-delivery fee will apply and re-delivery will not be attempted until this is paid.

 

We understand that you are making a significant investment in equipment of this size and price and we The Big Kitchen Centre are giving you the best price possible.  By adhering to these terms and conditions we can ensure that your purchase runs as smoothly as possible.
